FALL MEETING OF THE SOUTHERN LEPIDOPTERISTS' SOCIETY AND THE ASSOCIATION FOR TROPICAL LEPIDOPTERA, October 11-13, 2024
Please join us for the joint conference of ATL and the Southern Lepidopterists' Society on 11-13 October 2024 at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity, Florida Museum of Natural History, University of Florida, in Gainesville, Florida. The meeting will commemorate the McGuire Center's 20th anniversary.A block of rooms is being held for ATL-SLS meeting attendees at the Hilton UF Conference Center, directly across the street from the McGuire Center. Our 'booking link' for making individual reservations is here (for up to 4 nights; arr. Oct.10, dep. Oct.14; listed under 'Lepidopterists' Society'). The rooms (n=5 double queen, 5 standard king) are quoted at $169 USD/night. Our contact person at the Hilton is Christina Rodenwoldt ( The annual banquet will be held on Friday, October 11, at the beautiful, Victorian Sweetwater Branch Inn east of the main UF campus. This is also a highly recommended place to stay during the meetings, and they have generously offered a 15% discount for meeting attendees. Please ue their online reservation system (not a third party system such as Expedia or Booking.com) and the code 'Lepi2024', which will be valid until September 10. Sweetwater Inn will also provide free shuttles to and from the McGuire Center.
