The full-color scientific journal HOLARCTIC LEPIDOPTERA was published by the Association for Tropical Lepidoptera. Publication commenced in 1994 and ceased after Volume 11, 2004. All articles were peer-reviewed to provide the highest consistent quality and scientific content. Major abstracting services covered the journal, including Abstracts of Entomology (BIOSIS) and Zoological Record. The editor of this series was Dr. John B. Heppner, and the associate editor was Dr. Thomas C. Emmel.

CONTENT: usually a mixture of scientific technical articles, along with more popular subjects such as travelogs and photo-essays. Virtually all articles have color illustrations. Color covers and content summaries are presented on-line (see
